CHRIST-MINDED FELLOWSHIP hard to find
You rarely find a person whose mind is set on Christ, on following Jesus and doing the will of God. Most professing Christians are looking for a “good church” where they can have like-minded fellowship. Church members are all of the same opinions, ideas and interests but they are not interested in following Jesus Christ. People look for a church community where they feel comfortable but they are not comfortable having fellowship with Jesus. Such fellowship is dangerous and fatal. It leads to destruction and damnation. Friendship with the world is enmity with God, even if it might be so called Christian fellowship, because most professing Christians do not know nor have fellowship with Jesus. They are friends with the world.
Practicing religion, going to church, and performing religious rituals, having so-called Christian fellowship, does not bring you closer to Jesus.
We only get to know Jesus better when we are in fellowship with Him and we only get into fellowship with Jesus when we seek Him and obey Him, obey His words. Jesus said:”He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” John 14:21. The gospel of Jesus Christ, His teachings and His commandments, His words, were recorded in Matthew, Mark,Luke and John. If we obey His commands, Jesus will disclose Himself to us. Jesus said:”If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.” John 14:23. If we obey His words, Jesus will come and dwell with us and we will come into fellowship with Him.
Obey Jesus, repent, turn from sin, stop sinning, be baptized in water for the forgiveness of your sins, live holy and righteously, in obedience to Jesus' words and He will reveal Himself to you. He will disclose Himself to you. He will speak to you and guide you. He will give His Holy Spirit in you to be with you so that you can have fellowship with Him ALL THE TIME.
Most professing Christians do not have fellowship with Jesus. They do not know Him. They do not have the Spirit of Christ. They are just religious. You only find Christ-minded fellowship with those very few believers who are filled with the Holy Spirit. They share with others and with each other their relationship with Jesus and their testimony of Him. They encourage others to come into fellowship with Jesus and follow Him.
Fellowship with other believers is not important. Without Jesus we can do nothing. If we are not in constant fellowship with Him, every moment of our lives, then we are heading for certain destruction, we do not have life in us. Seek Jesus, obey Him, have fellowship with Him or you are lost.
